Indian Springs Country Club prides itself on having one of the best racquet facilities in Oklahoma. Our members-only club facilitates programs for players of all ages and levels. A total of 12 tennis courts are available for play, including eight outdoor hard courts and four indoor courts, as well as four outdoor pickleball courts. We can also easily convert our indoor tennis courts into a pickleball court for your needs, which means we play racquet sports all year long, rain or snow, cold or hot.  Our Director of Racquet Sports, Logan Palenske, and his talented staff of teaching professionals provide a wide variety of tennis opportunities for everyone including lessons, clinics, leagues, mixers, tournaments, and junior programs. The tennis staff also provides assistance in setting up doubles and singles matches for members, as well as providing adult and senior men’s and women’s leagues.

Meet our Racquet Sports Staff

Logan is one of the top under-35 Directors of Racquet Sports in the country. He brings an unprecedented and unparalleled level of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity to the ISCC tennis program.

He is a former state champion, and a current 5.5+ player. In 2018, as a collegiate coach, he led his team to a 15-2 record and a national ranking. That year he was also named Wilson ITA Central Region Coach of the Year.

His deep passion for helping players will be immediately clear when you hit the court with him. He loves working with people of every age and skill level and making racquet sports fun for all. But as much as he loves tennis, his true passion is spending time with his family, which is where you’ll find him when he is not on the courts. His family is what ultimately brought him to this market.

"I am beyond excited to bring my love and passion for racquet sports to our great members at Indian Springs. Over the last 10 years of coaching I have seen so many people's lives positively changed from these two amazing sports. Tennis was recently named the best sport for life longevity and is a perfect healthy hobby to enjoy with your friends and family. Tennis/pickleball are two of the best ways to meet your fitness, competitive, and social needs all in one. I along with our wonderful ownership team are philosophically aligned to provide the best possible racquet-sport experience each and every time our members walk through our doors. I can’t wait to meet you all and see you on the courts."

Kristela was born in Latvia, where she was a top player throughout her junior career. As a junior, she played in many international tournaments all over Europe. Her family moved to England in 2013 where she trained and played before university. In 2017, she was recruited to play for a top junior college in the nation, Cowley College, where she played no. 1 singles and doubles. She was named ITA Region Ill Rookie of the Year and played doubles at the NJCAA Small College National Championship. To continue her college career, she transferred and played in the top lineup at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing.

"I am very excited and honored to be part of Indian Springs Junior tennis. It's like living the dream since junior tennis is my biggest passion and I cannot wait to show kids how fun tennis can be!"

Craig was raised and learned to play tennis in East London, a small coastal city in South Africa. After completing high school, he accepted a tennis scholarship to Oral Roberts University, where he competed as an NCAA Division I athlete for 4 years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science, he returned to ORU to attend business school and was the assistant Men’s and Women’s tennis coach for 3 years under legendary hall of fame coach Bernis Duke, where he helped lead the teams to two Mid Continent conference championships.

After earning an MBA, he worked primarily in corporate settings. However, throughout the years, Craig has always remained closely connected to his sporting roots. He has significant experience in strength and conditioning across multiple modalities, is a USPTA certified tennis coach and is also a Sport Psychology Consultant with a Master’s degree in Sport Counseling. His tailored approach to coaching shows that he understands for a player’s full potential to be unlocked, their training methodology must reflect their current mental, physical, technical, and experiential state. As a result of this guiding philosophy, he is excited to be developing a number of sport science programs targeted initially at our junior athletes but eventually at our adult members as well.

Craig has been married to his wife Tracey (a fellow South African whom he met at ORU) for 27 years. They have a daughter Michaela and son Gabriel, and have been members of Indian Springs Country Club for 12 years.

Hardija was born in Latvia and started playing tennis at an early age. She was the #1 player in the country for her age in her junior career. At age 12, her family moved to the United Kingdom where she represented the county of Yorkshire. As a junior player, she earned recognition in many international tournaments across Europe.

In 2019, she was recruited to play for Fresno Pacific University. However, to further her career, she transferred to the University of West Alabama in 2020, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts. Hardija was also named an ITA Scholar Athlete four years in a row!

Hardija played number 1 doubles for UWA, where she capped her college career with four consecutive conference championships and a final ranking as the number 10 doubles player in the nation.

I am excited to be one of the Indian Springs' coaching pros. I believe I have a lot of experience and skills from playing all across the world, and I'm excited to share it all with everyone here at Indian Springs!"
